Dairy business licences
Who must hold the licence
The person or legal entity operating the business must hold the licence and is responsible for ensuring food safety.
You must apply as a licensable legal entity, such as:
- an individual (natural person)
- a registered partnership
- a company
- a trustee acting on behalf of a trust
Multiple sites or businesses
If you operate from more than one site, each site must be licensed separately. If two separate businesses operate from the same premises, each business may need to hold its own licence.
