Wildcatch Licences

What you need to know about Wildcatch Seafood Harvesting licences.

Who this licence suits?

A Wildcatch licence suits businesses that harvest seafood for sale for human consumption.

What you can do

With any Wildcatch licence, you can:

  • sell seafood you have harvested from the vessel at the point of unloading.

Crustaceans licence

With this licence, you can:

  • harvest crustaceans
  • harvest any other species.

General licence

With this licence, you can:

  • harvest seafood except:
    • abalone
    • crustaceans
    • noxious fish.

Noxious Fish licence

You cannot harvest any other species with this licence.
